A web-based system that allows enrolled employers to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

E-Verify electronically matches information provided by the employee on the Form I-9 against records available to the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
For international students on an F-1 visa, an employer absolutely MUST be enrolled in the E-Verify program in order for that student to apply for the 24-month STEM OPT extension.
